Biography
Muhammad Shahzaib is a final-year Artificial Intelligence undergraduate researcher with a focus on Medical AI, Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI), and Large Multimodal Models. With hands-on laboratory experience from the Intelligent Robotics Lab (IRL) at the National Center of Artificial Intelligence (NCAI), he specializes in engineering end-to-end deep learning pipelines, custom computer vision architectures, and signal classification workflows using PyTorch and TensorFlow.
His research initiatives center on developing transparent, trustworthy AI systems, prominently featuring an Explainable Neuro-Symbolic framework designed for retinal disease diagnosis that pairs deep visual perception with symbolic logic and attribution methods like Grad-CAM. Recognized as an AWS AI & ML Scholar and an active contributor to community development through the Alkhidmat Summer Internship Program, he combines practical machine learning expertise with modern agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) to build scalable, high-impact intelligent systems.
