Srijit Panja

Srijit Panja is an AI Practitioner, currently serving as the Senior Data Scientist at Arivonix. In his past errands, he was associated as an Artificial Intelligence Lead with Innovapptive and as a Data Scientist with Cognida.ai, Saras Analytics, Nggawe Nirman Technologies and Infogain, driving custom innovative solutions in analytics driven and generative AI spaces. He was an United Nations Volunteer for a brief period with SDG AI Lab, UNDP, Turkey, working for a dedicated Natural Language Processing use case for Disaster Management.

Several of his works (especially in Natural Language Processing domain) have been documented as papers in AI-related Journals and Conferences. He authors an AI-focussed series of interdisciplinary papers – Basic Sciences X AI. In association with several IT ed-techs like Mach-IT, ExcelR, 1StepGrow, Masai, he provides simplified AI Education to Data Science aspirants.

His work on AI Covid Search Engine – Vilokana was featured during first phase of Covid in India in 2020 on dailies like Times of India, New Indian Express, Economic Times, The Hindu, Hindustan Times and ANI among others. It was also mentioned in the Technology Feature of the Nature Journal on June, 2020. Alonsgside Natural Language Processing, his interests lie in AI Ethics and Computational Thinking for Brain-accurate AI models.
