Mahfuzur Rahman

Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman is an Associate Professor at the University of Lincoln, UK. He also serves as an Associate Editor for Business Strategy & Development (BSD) and the Journal of Management and Organisation. His current academic and research focus is Sustainability and Innovation, specifically within Emerging Markets. Dr. Rahman's recent research endeavours centre on exploring environmentally friendly manufacturing practices, such as adopting textile enzymes and achieving NetZero, to foster a sustainable future.

In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Rahman fulfils the role of Academic Adviser to the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission, UK. As an adviser, he represents UK Higher Education to Commonwealth countries and plays a crucial part in the selection of Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows. His research projects, both as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator, as well as the Scholarships he supervises, are funded by esteemed entities such as the Commonwealth Commission, Government of Bangladesh, British Council, Government of Ghana, and Government of Kazakhstan.

Furthermore, Dr. Rahman is an integral member of the University of Lincoln UNESCO Chair on Responsible Foresight for Sustainable Development. His contributions to the academic community include publications in internationally refereed journals, presentations at various international conferences, and involvement in multiple research projects. Notably, he has received several awards, including the University of Lincoln Merit Award 2018, Individual Merit Award 2019, two best paper awards, the University of Lincoln Team Award 2018, and the Technology and Management for Development Award 2008 from the University of Oxford.
