Joy Eghonghon Akahome

Joy Eghonghon Akahome is a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Marketing at the Federal University Otuoke, Nigeria, with a PhD in Business Administration and extensive research and teaching experience in entrepreneurship, management, marketing and sustainability. Her research examines entrepreneurship and innovation in emerging markets, entrepreneurship education, women’s entrepreneurship, digital entrepreneurship, sustainability and ESG, business resilience, consumer behaviour and service marketing. Her work is particularly interested in how individuals, organisations and communities respond to social, technological and environmental change. She has published in international peer-reviewed journals and works collaboratively with researchers across different countries and disciplines. Her research combines qualitative, quantitative and mixed-methods approaches and seeks to generate theoretically informed and practically relevant insights for entrepreneurship, education, organisations and sustainable development.
