Biography
I am a research assistant at the Responsible AI Lab (RAIL), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. My work focuses on building AI systems that work for communities and languages that are typically left out of mainstream technology development. My MPhil research investigated automatic speech recognition for English-Twi code-switched speech. I have co-authored publications on responsible AI, inclusive technology, and African language NLP, and I presented research at the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva in 2026. I am currently contributing to Project Kasa, a Microsoft and ITU-funded initiative building inclusive speech recognition for African languages.
